1. Is my Business qualified to benefit from the project?

A- All London based SMEs are qualified to benefit from the project

2. Is there a charge?

A – The project is free for all registered clients

3. What is an SME?

A – An SME is a small or medium size business with up to 250 employees (There are also turnover limits).

4. Do I have to invent a new product to benefit from the project?

A- No, innovation is broad and relates to new ways of working and improvements to existing products and processes.

5. How long will the project last for?

A- Innovate London is a 3 year project that concludes in September 2012.

6. How can Innovate London really help my business?

A- The project will help your business by connecting you and your business with London’s knowledge base and will work with you to re-energise your existing business model/operations to better sustain your future growth.

7. Does the project cover all London boroughs

A- Yes it covers all 32 boroughs and the City of London

8. If I live outside London, but my business is based in London, can I get help from the project

A- Yes, assistance is provided for your business as long as the business is located in London.

9. Does Innovate London provide any funding?

A- Innovate London is working closely together with other ERDF programmes and Business Link to ensure that up to date information is provided to you of the latest sources of finance.

10. What do I need to do to become a member of the project?

A- To become a beneficiary of the project, you must complete a registration form including the De Minimis State Aid Declaration. This form is located on the website
